Thanks. I find I am better off when I help the work create itself.

Curators Comments:

I delight in your ongoing outpouring of creative energy- and the admission that this particular piece was created quickly, with minimal brushstrokes.  Despite its economy of overall shape and form, I appreciate the complexity of the small articulations within each section; punctuating the movement and contrast between the black pigment and organic pinkish-red color.  At first glance, Dancer appears to contain anatomical or muscular elements, perhaps because of the striations and biomorphic contours in the fleshy red areas.  The arcing arm or curved tail at the top of the dancer breaks away from the viewers’ further efforts to make out actual limbs, and instead understand the unaltered movement defines the subject.  This body of work is invigorating and fresh.

Three brush strokes, two colors and nine minutes.
