These images, entitled "Half-Pixels," are a reaction to the ubiquity of technology in contemporary culture created using a digital camera, a scanner, and digital manipulation. An amalgamation of the actual and the virtual, the Half-Pixels depict black-and-white corporeal forms distorted by multicolored banding. As these bare bodies succumb to electronic alteration, they call into question the possibility of an invigoration of human energy through technological means.
