Tyrone House, Co. Galway, Ireland, was burnt out in 1921 in the War of Independence. It's an imposing ruin now and forms the focal point of the countryside all around. This was painted in the rain (note raindrops on left in the sky). The lush hedgerows burst with life in June, and dry stone walls are everywhere. Pen and ink and watercolor.
