Hot Summer with Grey Days and Red Sun is an eye-catching work, combining several dream-like elements while approaching a folk art sensibility. The overall warm tonalities keep the figurative elements on one spatial plane, without the overlapping faces receding atmospherically into the background. While you don’t offer much information in the way of media or support, the image looks to be drawn and painted over a pre-existing paper support, or heavily made up of collaged components. The thin horizontal lines across the larger portrait in the bottom left for example offer the suggestion of a story underneath.
