Ice Chunks - Norwood

This was done on the afternoon of February 11, 2010. A friend and I (she'd never been plein air painting in winter!) were standing on the ice at Norwood. I'm always careful to only go out as far as it would not be too deep if the ice broke. I liked looking at this section of open water, glaring from the occasional sun, with chunks of ice that were crashing into the ice flow.
