Welcome to the site! I appreciate the entirety of the work you posted here because of the proficiency in craft, but Instances most purely captures the formal pleasure of the mosaic.  The individual tesserae are quite beautiful in this detail shot, and I can appreciate the nuances in opacity and color.  The changing directional orientation of the squares keeps our visual interest, while the rhythm and repetition of color and shape organize the non-objective composition. I also find the piece entitled Wom (Woman) appealing.  Arguably less complex than most of the religious portraiture and landscapes, the contemporary feel of the subject in an ancient medium is part of the allure.  The bodily gesture is a dynamic counterpoint to the rigidity and geometry of the expanded design. The dark brown broken contour helps distinguish the figure from her ground, while the pinkish coloration provides harmony in the otherwise disparate treatment of abstract space.
