I promise you..

I recently completed these two panels that I started over a year ago. It is always a challenge working with such strong hues in that you want the completed work to be about more than seductive color. With this painting, I aim to transport the viewer to an ethereal, peaceful place, like looking through a window to a area outside ones present experience. The forms are not static but moving as if what is viewed is much greater than what can be seen.
They are each 16" x 12" oil on Masonite and are meant to be a diptych but could certainly be hung separately.
