While station in Germany back in the winter of 1987 I saw our missiles in a new perspective. Quite a contrast I had to put in a painting. I framed the subject up close to force the viewer to see only what I wanted seen. The snow of nature and the determined strength and power of Man in the form of this hawk anti-aircraft missile.
