I don't have many Heroes in my Life, but Pete Seeger was one of them. He was brave enough to stand out and speak out even if it endangered him.He will be missed!
I met him at a Concert in Chicago and he so impressed me that I went out and bought a $3.00 Banjo. The neck was so crooked that I looked like Robin Hood trying to play it.
He was a very humble man and and easy to talk to. We traded letters over the years and Rhys called him, Uncle Pete.
