Hi Linda, I torch-cut steel, then I  use layer upon layer of acrylic paints. On one piece I could have as many as 20 layers depending on the effect I am going for. While adding my layers I add pieces of recycled objects until I feel it looks a certain way. On these pieces above, I cut out the windows and re-positioned them back behind the piece with wire and bolts. Then added lots of layers for a  "Looking Within" effect.

Tricia, I find this piece very visually interesting primarily because of the strength conveyed by the use of symmetrical balance and the use of texture. Can you tell me about the media you used to create this?
