Hi Linda, I torch-cut steel, then I use layer upon layer of acrylic paints. On one piece I could have as many as 20 layers depending on the effect I am going for. While adding my layers I add pieces of recycled objects until I feel it looks a certain way. On these pieces above, I cut out the windows and re-positioned them back behind the piece with wire and bolts. Then added lots of layers for a "Looking Within" effect.
