This painting began with the notion of creating a work that felt as a paint by numbers - as it progressed, it became more a depiction of modern living, finding no privacy in the broadcast, shoulders weighted by someone looking over them... chained events with quantified, categorized normalcy that leaches our color and we're lost within the swipe.
