MIxed media on canvas. 61cm x 91.4cm. Private collection. The jagged peaks of the Grand Teton Mountains create a backdrop for new spring color along the shoreline. The dense line of blue spruce stand guard between the lowlands and the mountains giving the picture a cool spring appearance. The texture left by the cold wax and oils give the mountains, trees and foreground greenery a more textured lifelike appearance.
