It’s so nice to see these new collages on the site. Mobiliere Chambre la Journee 1 is a jewel of a piece with its high chroma pink structure and contrastingly cool environment. The slightly disjointed shapes imbue the piece with a whimsical quality; more spirited household rather than architectural presentation. The expression of thatching through burlap is an easy visual connection, and I like the way it interfaces with the other collaged components. The obscured bottom section of the house adds to its personified and off kilter impish movement.
