I get the impression one would really need to spend some time with your work to appreciate all of its intricacies. Pearl View of Distant Hills is especially understated, but I believe it offers the viewer much in its restrained and delicate tonal values.   My personal preference is for your more organic works, which allow me to meander through the space in a slow, uncalculated manner.  The reversed atmospheric perspective in this piece is also an inventive way of viewing the landscape, with the richer contrast further away, pushing towards the very top of the composition.  The lack of a finite horizon prevents the viewer from leaving the space, as the visual movement continually shifts along the seemingly vast horizontal plane.   I also really enjoy your drawing Ancient Mandrone, but for different attributes. The tenuous, fragile line work reaches out into the open white space, allowing the viewer release from the density of the complex forms.  The small low horizon also makes the viewer less significant spatially, when confronted with the massive old tree.
