Hi Tom, this is an Autobiographic piece, the Kid in the front is me at probably age 2-3 and my Mother in the background when she was around 21-22, the little heads are collage of my Grandfathers Head taken from a photo from 1944, there are also some other symbolic elements in this piece I worked on for a period of ca. six month on and off, I did it mostly for my Mother who is in Germany and she has never seen a show of my work yet and is to old to Travel to Canada, I'm in the process to have a show in my Hometown Cologne so she will have finally a chance to come to a show. As you probably see this piece is a bit outside of what I normally do but it was an interesting experience to do it.

I'd be interested to know what is the story behind this painting.   Another well done piece of art!
