Among the specialty straw hangouts, Marcus had a definite preference. He had been to the other well-known holes like the Hay Straw Hide-A-Way, The Straw-Beverry Ale House and the risqué Raw Straw (with its infamous “Seed-ee Midnight Show”). But you needed more than the novelty of an interesting straw to keep customers coming back. And the Twisted Straw Taproom had it. Marcus could sit back in a comfy sofa, order a sparkling cocktail and watch the Twisted’s fighting waitresses. They would fight with each other, the door staff, restroom attendants and on those special nights...the customers. Funny part was that it wasn’t a planned bit. Whoever did the hiring employed some very high-strung aggressive gals.
