It was great to come across your new pieces on the site- thanks for sharing your work.  The mixed media print Search V enjoys a strong graphic contrast, and mood of quiet separation.  It’s hard for me to see it without the current context of social distancing- but the tension nonetheless remains between the smaller orange figure pulled away from the larger (adult) group.  I also find it interesting how much the red lines in the upper left corner contribute to the composition and mood of the piece.  They look as though they’re a part of cropped signage, offering a faint urban context to the otherwise economic, streamlined environment. I appreciate the figure-ground relationship between the orange figure and deeper hued background, which is interrupted by the grey figures in between. The piece’s shallow space also contributes to the physiological influence of the subjects.
