I respond to the clean freshness of design that navigates me through your work, while delving into unexpectedly layered social commentary.  The Charm is a wonderful example.  The binary numerals form a superficial pattern over the figures in the space, setting up a subtle dichotomy of ‘us’ versus ‘them’.  Interestingly, the primary actors in the scene have their backs towards the viewer, and so we are confronted only by the dark crowd of conformity.   A small grouping off in the distance, their power and clout are called into question.  The single red briefcase held by their leader is a somewhat enigmatic symbol of character, which can be supposed as another power indicator, or leak in the consistency of their cause.   There’s less ambiguity about the psyche of the large female, as she looks in the standing mirror and only sees rolls of flesh.  The orange jacketed (male) figure provides a counterpoint to her understanding of herself, though acting as an observer or judge.  But no action or exchange actually takes place between them.  Vibrant and saturated color creates a beautiful formal respite from this narrative, pushing the space into pleasurable flatness.  That leaves all of these figures and signs float in space, among the 0’s and 1’s, leaving us to interpret the scene as at least in flux, if not entirely of our own making.

Thank you for your comment.
It's a pretty good description of what I wanted to accomplish.
