Working this scene counter clockwise, the path was illuminated by strategically raking light across the ground with a Lensor P7 flashlight. The interior of the structure was then lit with repeated pops from an off-camera flash covered with a yellow gel which created the warm glow. I continued to work the scene from behind the building and then from the left of the tree ensuring that the textures would be enhanced. The gate and fence in the foreground were painted last with the same Lensor P7 and a final sweeping gesture along the ground to cast shadows on the same diagonal as the gate. This is so unusual and mysterious. Thanks for sharing your process, if I understand correctly. I love the effect. BTW, how can we help you on Take it to the Next Level?
