These images do not have a physical size - they are digital images, usually of 18" x24" @ 300 dpi. I call them layered colored drawings because the drawing component is the most important. They are created from my drawings and paintings scanned into the computer, along with my photos and work that is done entirely in the computer itself. The "layers" comes from the Photoshop function which allows work to be "stacked" on top of each other. Sometimes a layer may be just a tiny piece or a couple of lines, and sometimes it may be the entire size of the image. These artworks may contain over 200 layers when I'm working on them. These layers which are then merged into a single layer image when complete.

It is helpful when viewing an image to specify the meduim and size. What is a layered colored drawing?
