Nizdos is an ancient word meaning “where the bird sits.” Beach walks and the giant iguana from my back yard intermingle with Florida’s famous symbol, the pink flamingo. This nest is woven with bits from the sky and water. This is my nest, my place where I sit.
Please log on to www.elizabethreed.net to see the other “excavations.”
A common response to these paintings/drawings is, “I can’t stop looking at this!”
