Karen Kucharski's Gallery

My art is about the union of spirit and being.  I express this through mark-making and imagery that exhibit movement.  Thus, dance and water serve as subject matter to these representations of life.  These, and other elements to which I gravitate, inspire me to create images standing at the edge between light and dark, metaphors about relationships, and visual dialogue between focal points juxtaposed within a composition.  I refine my marks, and offer rhythm, to carry these expressions.
