Hi Marcia, Just checking in. Have you picked up a pencil or brush yet? I go nuts on the days I don't paint even just a little. How about something happy, like a red angus steer?

I think your being self-taught shows in the best possible way, in that your work looks so unique. It's amazing that you don't plan your compositions, yet they innately turn out well. I do plan mine quite a bit, which isn't to say I don't change them midway sometimes. :-)

Take whatever time you need to heal and adjust. Things are working out inside you, and will express in your work, when they're ready. 

I generally paint every day except Saturday.
