Artist Statement

 

When painting I can convey the emotions that I bottle up inside in the piece be it anger, sadness or whatever I’m going through at that time. I enjoy working with pastels as well as acrylic paints. Stephanie Brown was born in Bluefield, Virginia but lived in Tazewell, Virginia from most of her life. She attended Tazewell Middle School were her eight-grade year she took her first art class.  Stephanie enjoyed her art class, where she learned some art history and fell in love with the Impressionist area and Monet. Art Productions, Inc Hosted a national character illustration contest for the young adult fantasy books, BLOOD TRINITY and ALTERANT by Diana Love and Sherrilyn Kenyon.
