Maggie von Moos's Gallery

My creations are images of my soul with every piece starting as an inspiring moment in my life. The desire to inspire others with my creations acts as a catalyst to see the beauty and inspiration in the world around me.
Art in all its forms has inspired me since I was four years old when I would attempt to copy the Sunday comics line for line. Over the years, my love of art has grown into a full fledged love affair.
With the exception of taking a couple of art classes through my local community college, I am completely self taught. Currently, my focus has been in the field of collage. I love the versatility and flexibility that collage offers. The endless arrangements of elements and transformations of images and meanings are very exciting. My floral collages are created by tearing and ripping small pieces of paper to create my still lifes. I like to refer to it as Painting with Paper.
