Gorgeous wrapping job, but sticking things and writing on the back of the canvas? Kind of defeats the purpose, no?

WOW! Beautiful. His wrapping is also a work of art, so wise and important. I imagine this would work for works framed with glass, too?

I can't even imagine trying to unpack it.  That is the most thorough job I have ever seen.  The only thing I saw which I would not do is write on the back of a canvas with permanent marker.  That is an unknown quantity.  I, in fact, took a piece to be shipped today to the USPS and they basically said that even with the piece insured, it would be stacked for shipping.  I took it to UPS, insured it, they wrote Fragile all over it and now I keep my fingers crossed.  Used foam around the art, bubble wrap, then foamboard, all taped and then cardboard, taped and all of it taped to the inside of the box so it wouldn't shift.
