Greetings Donald. Thank you for sharing your insights with the group last week. I am this week's knowledge artist. Please stop by at this web address http://bit.ly/xRuPI Your feedback would be much appreciated. Have a great week. Verneda Lights
Thanks Donald for your comments and insight! I am not a trained Dancer, just a person who loves the freedom of dance. The tea in the dancer piece was used to stain the background. It is much easier to notice in person. This piece photographs much lighter than what it is in life..
I really enojy and respect your knowledge of art. Reading one of your comments you left once made me wish you had joined our group. I am not exactly sure what you meant when you left the message you did on my profile. If it is in regards to my art being copied then I can think you got the wrong impression from my question. So far I have only done art for myself and my friends/family, it is very personal to me. Not from a $ stand point but from the stand point of feeling like something I put my time, heart, soul into was stolen and used. I have always just given away my art to my friends because I have yet to be able to seperate myself from it enough to put a price tag on it. I hope this makes sense.
Hi Donald,

As far as the reps, the galleries will contact the artists that sparks their interest only and it will be via artdeadline.com subscriber email of record (we don't give them your email, we do the contact and then you can respond to them if you like). As far as the competition idea, we actually have that going on right now, it is being hosted on our Jury Review Online sevice, see AD.C Service on the top navigation bar and select Jury Review.
Hi Donald. I've replayed your gallery several times and am hard pressed to say what I like best. Your range of talents is marvelous. I'm curious, do you have a favorite medium?
The low lustre finish you noted on my work is actually either acryllics or ceramic stains (the majority of glazes obscure the details). I have tested a few slab pieces for pierced work, and have a few technical issues to work out before I'll be satisfied with the end result. I guess the short answer is I'm working on it.
btw - love the music
How very nice Donald. You seem very well rounded. Not hemmed in at all. The 'heart of keys' is wonderful!! Thank you for the wisdom and encouragement of your letter. The funny thing is, I am painting differently and even looser (if you can believe that) than just 10 paintings ago. Seems like i am becoming more comfortable. or maybe that's not it. Maybe the correct way to say it is, not so afraid to make mistakes; because i am finding those mistakes, well, it's almost like the painting is painting itself sometimes. Does that sound weird? D'Ann
