Eric Beavers's Gallery

My name is Eric Beavers, I have been doing artwork all my life.  I specialize in portraits and figures, but I also work in landscapes and wildlife.  The main goal in my artwork is to capture the likeness and personality of the individual or subject.  Through the process of assigning value and rendering shape and dimension I unavoidably see deeper into my own character.  My perception of color, texture, posture, wrinkles, and uniqueness or distinct expressions of character continues to develop as I gather more and more experience in rendering observed details.  Through creating artwork I find the experience to be very unique and personal because what I produce lies in my own understanding of reality and interpretation of the world through what I see.
