A Fit Pall for Hiding has emotive qualities of a black and white film still.  The stretched distortions of the cropped face and circular pattern for me call to mind early sci-fi renderings about altered time and space.  While media and scale of the actual piece aren’t specified, I’m interested in the large proportion of black space on the right side of the elongated frame.  It adds mystery and tension.  Most of the other works you have posted on the site appear to achieve a more symmetrically based dynamic balance/equilibrium.  But while some of the other figurative paintings also appear to have been rendered from photographic sources, this piece maintains a graphic photographic sensibility.
