Fair Commission for boutique referring Custom Work???

Hello! I am trying to start the conversation with a small boutique regarding potential referrals for commissioned pet portraits. The boutique is fairly new and they are unsure what a fair rate would be as well. As the featured artist this month, they take a 35% commission on any works sold there. This would be a little different, as I may only have one or two examples and information about my services available. The owner has already forward two contacts that have inquired about commissions.

I certainly want to be fair to the small local business, but also need to profit. Any ideas???
