City-Wide Open Studios Exhibition Opportunity

Regional Deadline: August 15, 2014 - Call to artists to participate in City-Wide Open Studios, Connecticut's leading forum for visual artists and the east coast's largest open studios event over three weekends this October.

• October 11/12 - Artists from across the region are invited to register to install and exhibit their work in the Goffe St Armory. We are also considering site specific installations (with $500 paid stipends) and an open call for works in series for this venue.
  
  
• October 18/19 - Artists with private studios across New Haven, Hamden, and West Haven are invited to register to open their studios. Special tours will be offered allowing visitors to discover the area's hidden artistic hives including guided bike, van, and walking tours.
  
  
• October 25/26 - Artists with studios in Erector Square are invited to register to open their studios to thousands of visitors over two days.

Artists will also be included in a central festival exhibition at Artspace featuring a representative work by each participant, in 'The Official Map & Guide' of the event and on our website.

Artists participating in any weekend are invited to apply to be a stop on a curator led tour for no additional cost. The deadline for this is August 1st, more information is available online.
