International Deadline: July 31, 2014 - One of the world's most successful art agents, Lilla Rogers, has launched the 2014 Lilla Rogers Studio Global Talent Search to find the next big name in art.

Lilla Rogers, founder of the Massachusetts-based Lilla Rogers Studio, represents some of the world's top artists and illustrators, and has sold art for products worth over $100 million in markets across the world. The winner of the 2014 Global Talent Search will be represented by Lilla Rogers Studio for two years, win a host of licensing contracts and 1:1 career development opportunities, and have their work promoted internationally. They will also win an all-expenses paid trip to Europe to participate in an exciting art event. This is an incredible opportunity for artists to showcase their work, get noticed, and for the winner to catapult their career to a whole new level.

The competition will be run completely online, with judging by an expert panel of industry specialists including Crate & Barrel, Chronicle Books, Demdaco, Midwest-CBK, Oopsy Daisy, Paperchase, Print & Pattern, Quayside Publishing Group, Real Simple Magazine, Robert Kaufman Fabrics and Uppercase. There will also be a public vote to choose a 'People's Choice' finalist.

Registration is open now but closes on JULY 31 2014. The competition will then run in several stages over the summer. The winner will be announced on October 9 2014. This competition is in its second year and is possibly the most exciting competition to hit the art world in years. Last year's winner, Zoe Ingram, has had back-to-back work since last year's search.

The Global Talent Search is open to any artist over 18 (based in any country) who is not currently represented.
