International Deadline: July 31, 2014 - The Sausalito Art Festival is again encouraging professional and amateur artists in all disciplines to tap into your creativity and participate in the Third annual American Icon Art Competition, presented by the Sausalito Art Festival.

Theme & Medium
This year, our theme is "What's Your American Icon?" We're looking for iconic American images captured on your mobile device; what is your personal American icon? Is your vision a '65 Mustang Convertible? Is it Steve Jobs or Beyonce? A buffalo on the range, or a NYC fireman?

Artist Benefits & Awards
Your submitted images will be part of the world-renowned Sausalito Art Festival, and there's an opportunity to win cash and prizes.

Approximately 35,000 patrons will be directed to the exhibition site by signage throughout the Festival grounds. The American Icon Art Competition will be listed in the Festival program and will be promoted extensively in both traditional and social media.
