Welcome to the site! You’ve posted an interesting range of photographic work in this initial grouping.  I’m most drawn to the image of the coastal home along the water’s edge. (102309_AMcoastal view). The abstraction that occurs through the alternating bands of luminescence and rust provide an interesting visual juxtaposition. I also enjoy how the value pattern in the water transverses the space of the sky, jumping across the diagonal brown strip of land.  The top of the house structure down in the foreground provides an anchoring focal element, without drawing too much attention from the expansive landscape. This image is arguably your most abstracted depiction of scenery.  While the subject is still highly recognizable, it seems as though you’re taken the most liberty here, crafting the space to your own vision.
