The painterly white surface of this piece drew me in, so that I could further appreciate the crisp black edges working as a visual foil against the texture.  The red line at the bottom of the work provides a compositional anchor, while repeating the harder edges of the black shapes.  For me, the piece formally plays with the idea of intersections, while ultimately expressing the joy and process of painting itself.  While the physical scale isn’t indicated, I imagine the open expanse of space in the middle-bottom of the picture plane would have a dramatic and satisfying impact.   I enjoy all of the pieces you’ve posted, which compose a cohesive and engaging exploratory body of images.
