Fierce you are, your face but a smug/ plastered emotionless expressional colossus… that is, not compared to your thick slithering body. Feeding with your long, boneless fingers, tipped with dagger-point needles to suck the life out of me, we either fear or avoid you. Your behavior inexcusable, as we look at you, a foul leviathan with an endless hunger and hope to strike us with fear.

But now, now I know your secret. Why your face goes emotionless when you feed or do acts of cruelty. When I realize that you lack the confidence that I fear you, your face looses depth. That face is a mask, and it can’t hide the pain or guilt when it gets too great, so it deactivates. Then, you weep your golden tears through the eyes on your rearing hood, and tell of the scars left by those who were supposed to befriend you. To protect your home. The guardians.
But since you act out, they force you into the darkness they once failed to keep from spreading. You have no eternal hunger, but eternal pain. That’s why I sympathize with you, and let you go.

And I learn a deed such as that demonstrated comes with reward, as you risk your life to return the favor…
