Curator’s Comments:

I’m happy to have taken a closer look at Divine Justice when it came up in a random selection on the site, as the digital work created more than a decade ago still holds visual mystery in subject and content.  The central female face- or half face- suggests the iconic image of Blind Justice, with a physically draped white blindfold.  Indistinct imagery within the separated bars of space suggest a developed narrative without specificity.  While the image overall enjoys low contrast values and pale warm hues, there is the suggestion of a light source in the white burst in the far-right panels. Looking through your other works posted suggests this piece is an outlier in your use of horizontal format, as well as recognizable figuration. I do hope you consider posting new work on the site.  I would enjoy seeing the evolution of your artistic  practice, and learning of the impetus of this enigmatic piece.
