Curator’s Comment:
I was hoping to see more of your work on the site when I came across this sculpture. Chemistry is a charming piece, exhibiting a spatially light and delicately balanced form out of unexpectedly heavy relics. While you don’t indicate if these are found or constructed/manufactured objects, the harmony achieved in the degree of articulation and detail versus surface manipulation nicely marries disparate forces. I like that the linear ring echoes the flat horizontal gear; it connotes elemental synthesis and physical chemistry. The blue birds and pyramid are also visually connected so that they move up through the structure as one unified piece. They animate the work and suggest nature at work beyond human design.
From NY to the U.K., the most comprehensive and respected source for income & exhibition opportunities.
