36"x48" acrylic on canvas Her leg is malformed in actuality-not just in this painting! One of her bones did not form completely and she cannot not let her front foot to the floor, only her little "elbow," but she gets around as though she doesn't know shes any different than the other. The other, however, growing up with this one as the "Mama," has come to only having three of her feet touch the ground at one time and always holds one of the four up when she pauses for any length of time, but she alternates which she favors!
