Curator’s Comment:
City Speed came up randomly on the site for me today, and I enjoyed revisiting your other digital pieces and multifaceted aesthetic approach. I find City Speed particularly pleasing with longer viewing because of the vibrations of pale blue and pure red. The two colors hold the active composition together and provide a discerning color and value pattern. The repeated rectangles of signage also establish unifying compartmentalization for the energetic lines. The blurred grey shape at the bottom, which looks to be a passing car, further stabilizes the movement, and provides needed visual rest. It occurs to me that in the life of the city, the car provides a sense of human presence without actually providing individualized details.
From NY to the U.K., the most comprehensive and respected source for income & exhibition opportunities.
