Good morning, Kristen. Thank you for taking the time from your schedule and review Divergence. I always look forward to your comments as your perspective gives me a different intellectual understanding. I am finding this sculptural journey to be like a puzzle, where each piece of work has it's place to form the big picture. Thank you again. As always I really looked forward and enjoyed your comments.

Curator’s Comments:
Thank you for inviting me to review this new piece. Having looked at your creative process for several years now, I can appreciate the vocabulary of form within your repertoire and its sculptural evolution. Divergence, like many of your works, maintains dynamic equilibrium through the opposing diagonal paddle shapes. I still see these as inspired by tools of astrological projection or industrial application, possibly because of the color and trajectory of the linear elements. The paddle shapes here are also reminiscent of long range microphones. This amplification of senses through neutral structures in an interesting phenomena to explore visually. But the central forms in this piece also take on a vaguely figurative presence. The slight tapering of the cylindrical supports are topped by a cube anchor, or head. I like that the stability of these forms contrast the extensions. The white stone (marble?) base disappear to a degree when viewing the piece, allowing for a suspension of the heavier visual weight. It is a strong work, and I enjoy the counterbalance of weight and ideas.
