I can’t decide if I prefer your sculpture to your two-dimensional work or if the reverse is true.  But I will say I enjoy the parallel relationship between the two.  Tango is a wonderful controlled tumble of geometric form, orchestrating a dance between order and chaos. The full spheres in this piece and Cross Cut are reminiscent for me of Picabia’s machines, or a blown up segment in a Rube Goldberg mechanism, as the balls exist just outside the trajectory of the line.  Tango appears to have a lead like surface patina, making it seem more industrial to a degree, compared to the more colorful painted works.  Both surface treatments provide an interesting dialogue with their respective landscape environments.
