Embedded within a dark, high relief rose frame, interior 18k frame, oil on mounted linen, arch size 9”x12”. Wearing heavy metal corner bosses and aged hardware, outer frame is 14”x16”. Inspired by the Age of Courtesans in 15thC Italy, especially cosmopolitan Venice.
