This creature is from the first book (the agris terra) of the series I'm writing. guardians lives in the habitat parts of the forest (symbolizing the active mind), where the trees are farther apart and much larger than they are in the shallows of the forest (symbolizing shallow thoughts). Guardians symbolize the minds defense from being emotionally hurt. They are usually very shy creatures but if shaddow (no misspelling. symbol for clinical sadness), decay(symbol for ordinary sadness) or anything consumed by (infected in a sense) decay or shaddow is sensed, it will tear the source to pieces
