I enjoy the subtlety of this seemingly untitled and undesignated piece (IMG 4179), which references a window within the pictorial space.  There is the abstract suggestion of thin tree trunks moving through the rectangle, but the textural marks easily transfer between the shape boundaries.  The blue border suggests an aged patina, or other process of erosion, which enhances the organic contrast to the geometric rectangle.   The other piece you have on the site also plays with this formal tension between shapes, and amorphous value and color patterns.  But the overall red and warm color palette keep the image from exhibiting atmospheric depth.  Both are enjoyable works, and I hope you post new work on the site.
