Mostly Holbein Antique Watercolor on Fabriano 300lb cold-press watercolor paper.
To catch the scales on the bodies of these fish I used a single layer of cheesecloth; though the painting looked very awkward and the supposed end result looked questionable at times, the technique worked better than I expected.
