Levian Wraith With Decay

the whale itself is called a levian wraith (a wraith is a creature that symbolizes emotion. in the case of the levian, that is the emotion of freedom in the sense that the whale went beyond the limits of the sea to fly above the Agris Terra or land of fields and forests.), but there is an other symbolic creature involved, which is one of the many pieces of the antagonist of my novel.
This creature is called decay, and it symbolizes ordinary sadness, aside from that brought on by depression or bipolar disorder. (decay swallows or rips apart its victims, but it cannot control them in most cases and it is fleshy and itself can be easily killed.)
when decay gets a hold of a levian wraith, it rots it's flesh and in most cases, turns it into a monster (in the case of the decayed levian wraith, it how that ordinary sadness em-pares freedom. but it must be taken care of responsibly or else it will either die unpeacefully or spread decay through the fields
