As a baby, she was cast out into the wasteland by her parents to claim that humans kidnapped her. She was expected to catch influenza and die, but built an immunity. When she was returned ironically by human hands, the plan not only backfired but the virus did permanent damage to ella. Her golden fur fell off and never grew, her eyes turned nuclear green, and she faced emotional problems. In her favor, the virus affected her brain in a way that made her reflexes quick enough to dodge a bullet and charge her attacker in one motion. She was considered inferior as a female due to her appearance and sensitivity, but superior as a fighter. When her family tried to have her killed the second time and failed, she joined a human colony. There, she is appreciated as a fighter, a friend, and over all a person.
