Curator’s Comments:

The hyper-realist style of your landscapes with satuarted color provides a rich sensory experience.  But I’m most taken by this more restrained (untitled) seascape, as the intense color gives way to dramatic light and shadow.  The slight diagonal tilt of the horizon functions as a visual echo of the turbulent waves, leaving the viewer entry into the space with an unsteady ground.   The warm toned rocks in the foreground nicely anchor the composition, and slow down the movement to the shore.  The shift in scale from the rocks to the very tiny figures in the middle ground also creates a large expanse, and heightens the impact of the scene.   I do hope you continue to post new work on the site.
